Regular Monthly Club Meeting Scheduled for July 1, 2010 Was Rescheduled
The Battlefield Corvette Club regularly scheduled monthly meeting for Thursday, July 1, 2010, at 7:30 p.m. at Radley Chevrolet, 3670 Jefferson Davis Highway, Fredericksburg, VA 22407 was rescheduled for Thursday July 8, 2010, at 7:30 p.m. at Radley Chevrolet, 3670 Jefferson Davis Highway, Fredericksburg, VA 22407. At this meeting a motion was made, seconded, and passed by majority vote that requires all members to attend at least one meeting each calendar quarter starting with the current quarter (July - August - September). Failure to comply will result in loss of member priviledges until the member comes into compliance.

In another matter, Club members agreed to meet for a late lunch / early dinner at Buster's Place in Port Royal, Virginia on Saturday, July 17. This restaurant, located on Rt. U.S. 301 at the bridge over the Rappahannock River is locally well known for its "Bad to the Bone" food consisting of seafood, steaks, and burgers. This restaurant has the potential to serve as a Club event location. The restaurant's manager is enthusiastic about the idea and is anxious to show Club members what a great venue his restaurant would be for one of our Club's events. The restaurant features an uncrowded parking lot which can easily be adopted to a car show lot with its front lawn as the featured spot for the show cars. All members should attend to sample the great food and enjoy the scenery and "on the lawn" parking for Corvettes only.

The regularly scheduled meeting for August has been postponed to August 12, 2010 from August 5, 2010. It will be held at the usual time and in the usual place, 7:30 p.m. at Radley Chevrolet, 3670 Jefferson Davis Highway, Fredericksburg, VA 22407.
